Description
We are looking for a Senior SQL DBA for a contract to hire position. Candidate will start as a contractor for approximately 6 months, and then have the option to convert to full time status with the client.
Requirements include:
-Must have MS SQL 2000 & 2005 Database management
-Must have expert knowledge of MS Windows 2000/2003
-Must have experience with SQL application queries/stored scripts
-Must be a self-starter but team oriented
-Must have attention to detail and be able to generate documentation

is position will be working with the existing SQL DBA to support 500+ database environments.
Many of these databases take lesser care than others, but there are some larger database applications that require daily checking.
MS SQL DBA 2000 or 2003 certification would be preferred.
